A Popliteal Cyst, commonly known as a Baker’s Cyst, is a fluid-filled swelling that develops at the back of the knee. It forms when excess synovial fluid, which lubricates the knee joint, accumulates due to an underlying knee condition such as arthritis or a meniscus tear. The cyst can cause discomfort, stiffness, and limited knee mobility.
