What is a Scapula Fracture?

A scapula fracture refers to a break in the shoulder blade (scapula), one of the major bones that form the shoulder joint. Although rare, scapula fractures typically result from high-energy trauma, such as car accidents, falls from significant heights, or direct blows to the shoulder.
